Robert W. Carpenter - President & CEO

Robert Carpenter has spent his entire 30+ year career in the plastics injection molding industry. He brings operational knowledge, sales and marketing skills, and a strong management background to the Infinity organization.

Carpenter developed his leadership skills first at Windsor Plastics (now Guardian Automotive Trim) as Director of Technical Services. He was later tapped to lead their Sales & Engineering Departments. He was further recognized as a major contributor to the significant growth of Guardian Automotive Trim and served as a Corporate Vice President at Guardian World Headquarters in Auburn Hills, Michigan.

His move to Infinity Molding & Assembly in 2005 has given the company an experienced leader who is both customer and employee oriented. He is responsible for the overall strategic direction of the company, and serves as the primary spokesperson for the company with customers and the community. He is a graduate of the University of Evansville and earned the following degrees:

  • BA Chemistry
  • BS Chemical Business Administration
  • MBA, Management & Industrial Marketing

Additionally, He has completed industrial management courses from the University of Michigan in Lean Manufacturing and Activity Costing.

Scott A. Titzer - Vice President

Scott Titzer has 20+ years experience in the custom injection molding industry. His early career began at Kent Plastics in Evansville, Indiana, and focused on manufacturing engineering responsibilities. He was also employed by Windsor Plastics and gained experience in new business development as a Sales Engineer. Titzer took on a more technical role as both a project engineer and a black box designer at Guardian Automotive World Headquarters in Auburn Hills, Michigan. These cross-functional skills, developed early in his career, created a knowledge base to assume senior leadership positions in sales, quality, engineering and operations. He currently has overall responsibility for Business Development, Materials Management, Estimating and Program Management. He is a past Board of Directors member for the SPE Decorating and Assembly Division and is currently on the Board of Directors for Mid American Plastics Processors (MAPP).

He graduated from the University of Evansville with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and holds a Professional Engineering License in the State of Indiana.

Randy Calvert - Director, Sales & Marketing

Randy Calvert is a 33 year veteran of the custom injection molding industry. He is responsible for leading new business development and for all marketing/promotional activities at Infinity Molding & Assembly. He is a former member of the SPE Decorating Division Board of Directors, serving eight years including one year as chairman. His work background included 15 years at Southern Indiana molders and decorators Kent Plastics and Windsor Plastics (Guardian Automotive Trim) as a Sales Engineer. Additionally, Calvert worked for 15 years at Phillips Plastics in Wisconsin and held positions of Regional Sales Manager and Director of Sales. He left Phillips in 2001 to become Vice President of Sales & Marketing for SCITECH. He came to Infinity Molding & Assembly in January of 2006. He is a native of Evansville, Indiana, a U.S. Air Force veteran and a graduate of the University of Southern Indiana.

Joe Crowdus - Vice President Technical Services

Joe Crowdus began his career in the plastics injection molding industry in 1965 at Kent Plastics Corp as a designer of thermoplastic products, injection molds, and automation equipment for various decorative processes. He has experience as a Manufacturing Process Engineer developing unique processes for decorating, machining, and various automated assembly operations. While employed at Ball Plastics Division, he held the position of Project Engineer which was responsible for all phases of product introduction. He has experience with close tolerance injection molding of engineering resins and has also held positions as Manager of Tool Engineering and Manager of Engineering with TLB Plastics.

Joe is a graduate of Lain Technical Institute and the University of Evansville. He is an active member of the Society of Plastics Engineers. He is past President of the SPE Tri State Section and served as a Councilor to SPE International for six years. Crowdus came to Infinity Molding & Assembly in 1984 as the Vice President of Engineering and was responsible for the growth and success of the very young company. He is an active board member and shareholder of Infinity Molding & Assembly and has been involved in all phases of the operation throughout his career.

Sondra Ash - Vice President of Finance & Administration

Sondra Ash brings solid financial experience to Infinity Molding & Assembly. Before transitioning to a career in the plastics injection molding industry Sondra was employed by Eli Lilly Company in Lafayette, Indiana. In 1986, she accepted a position with Dow Chemical in Michigan. In 1996, she and her family moved to Mt. Vernon and she began working at General Electric's polycarbonate resin plant.

Sondra accepted the position of Corporate Controller at Infinity Molding & Assembly in 2002. In 2004, she was recognized as a major contributor at Infinity Molding & Assembly and was promoted to Vice President of Finance & Administration. Her responsibilities include Accounting, Human Resources, and management of Information Systems. She is a member of Infinity's Executive Committee and is very active in community affairs.

Sondra is a graduate of Purdue University and earned a BS degree in Accounting.
