Letter from the President
During a recent visit from one of our major customers, I was pleased to hear a very positive assessment of the way we have been interfacing with them. According to their Vice President and their Purchasing Manager, they saw great value in working with Infinity Molding & Assembly at the early design stage. The upfront assistance we provided on part/tool design supported a program launch that was smooth and without major issues. I believe this is the difference that Infinity Molding & Assembly provides to our customers on a regular basis. We recognize that we are a small company who has to provide big company service. We have to be flexible and responsive to survive in the competitive marketplace today. We have to work as an extension of our customer's business and provide quality products on a timely basis.
Having come from a very large organization, I was asked by former colleagues, "what do you see in Infinity?" My answers are the same now as they were then: Infinity produces parts that other molders would have trouble supplying successfully. Infinity Molding & Assembly has a core group of technical people who can expertly guide a customer to creative solutions as well as a manufacturing team willing to give 110% to support our customers. We are one of the custom injection molders who has weathered the storm during lean times, managed our cost structure and developed niche technology. As I look to the future, I believe Infinity is poised to increase business with existing and new customers. This past year, we have focused on selectively identifying the right opportunities and reinvesting in technology to support growth. Approximately 80% of our current customer base is comprised of companies we have done business with for over 10 years. We are expanding our commercial efforts to gain greater visibility and growth for a very technically capable company. We expect new challenges and new technologies to provide the propellant for this growth.
